About Me

My name is Kayleigh, I was born and raised in the heart of England that is Yorkshire. Now living in Switzerland. I am a creative person with lots of energy, always doing something to keep my busy hands occupied. If I am not doing anything, I am writing endless lists for the stuff I will be doing. It never ends (Dad quotes) but I love it!

Being an Artisanal Soap Maker for me is happiness. My process of creating a collection is very personal and I am very fortunate to be able to share the fruits of my life with the world. It starts with a memory of smells, I then conjure a recipe on a piece of paper whilst imagining the look of the soap and how it makes me feel. Manifesting through positive thinking and doing. Playing around with the ingredients to then produce a 900g slab of soap, slice into smaller bars and et voila. There you have it, a byproduct of my memories turned into a bar of soap. 

Later I introduced candles to sell along side my soap, in my opinion they are a perfect pair when it comes to bath time rituals!

I make them in the same workshop in Geneva from scratch. I make the jars from a concrete recipe and pour the candles using only the best scents and waxes.

I started this venture because I wanted to introduce something into the world that I made through my creativity and truly comes from within. I have had a colourful portfolio of previous employment and always tried my best. Always searching for that final career move that would give me the satisfaction of work life balance. I wanted to use my creativity to further myself not just pay the bills. I wanted to be recognised and shared as something good for the world we live in. Inspire others and heal. I had the misfortune of being diagnosed with an illness for which I am now in remission. I learnt so much about myself and my body, what I am capable of. It helped clear the brain fog and knuckle down to seek out what I really wanted from my life. With the support of my partner, family and friends around me, this was the moment Soap Feels Good was born.

My company mission is to be as plastic free, Biodegradable, decomposable, recyclable, natural as humanly possible. To spread the awareness and encourage others to do the same.
